What Qualifications, Qualities and Experience Do I Need to Work as a Dental Hygienist?
To work as a Dental Hygienist in the UK, you must:
- Hold a recognised qualification such as a Foundation Degree, Diploma, or BSc in Dental Hygiene or Dental Hygiene and Therapy
- Be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Have recent, relevant UK experience in a clinical dental setting
