Permanent Dentist Role | No UDA Targets | Fixed Day Rate | Immediate Start

Flourish Medical is currently recruiting for a GDC Registered Dentist to join the established healthcare team at HMP Hull on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist looking for a rewarding role outside of traditional high street practice. You will benefit from a competitive fixed day rateno UDA targetsno laboratory bills and supportive working hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Based within the dental clinic at HMP Hull, you will provide high-quality NHS dental care and treatment to patients within a secure healthcare environment. About the role

As a Dentist at HMP Hull, you will deliver a full range of NHS dental care within the prison dental clinic. You will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting patients from a wide range of backgrounds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dentist who wants to focus on patient care without the pressure of UDA targets. You will have the chance to broaden your clinical experience, develop your skills and provide essential dental treatment to patients who may have had limited access to routine dental care.

No previous prison healthcare experience is required, as full induction, security training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a full range of NHS dental care and treatment
  • Assessing, diagnosing and creating appropriate treatment plans
  • Managing patients with complex and varied dental needs
  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Promoting oral health and preventative dental care
  • Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team
  • Supporting continuity of care and improving patient outcomes
  • Maintaining high clinical standards in line with current regulations

Requirements

  • GDC Registered Dentist
  • Valid NHS Performer Number
  • Completion of Dental Foundation Training
  • Personal dental indemnity insurance
  • Previous UK dental experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care
