We are recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a long-established, independent mixed NHS and private dental practice in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
This is a permanent opportunity offering 3–5 days per week, with an established NHS patient list and excellent scope to develop private dentistry alongside your NHS work.
The practice has five well-equipped surgeries and an experienced clinical and support team. It provides a comprehensive mix of NHS and private dentistry, making this an excellent opportunity for a Dentist looking for a busy, established practice with genuine potential to grow their private income.

About the Dental Practice
The practice is a well-established independent dental practice in Newark-on-Trent providing a comprehensive range of NHS and private dental treatments.
Alongside general dentistry, the practice offers a growing range of private treatments including Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, endodontic treatment and facial aesthetics, providing excellent opportunities for an Associate Dentist looking to develop their private work and clinical interests.
You will be joining an established team of dentists, hygienists, therapists, dental nurses and reception staff within a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified and GDC registered Dentist
- Valid NHS Performer Number
- Previous UK dental practice experience
- Right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
This position would suit an Associate Dentist, General Dentist, NHS Dentist, Mixed Dentist or General Dental Practitioner looking for a permanent position within an established mixed dental practice.
Your Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality NHS and private dental treatment
- Managing an established NHS patient list
- Developing private treatment opportunities where appropriate
- Building strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
- Providing clear treatment plans and excellent patient communication
- Working collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, therapists and the wider practice team
- Maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient care
Location
The practice is located in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire and is commutable from Southwell, Grantham, Lincoln, Mansfield, Retford, Bingham, Nottingham, Sleaford, Worksop and Melton Mowbray.
