Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Dentist to join a well-established mixed NHS and private independent dental practice in the Northampton area on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity offering 3 days per week, competitive UDA rates and strong private earning potential within a genuinely supportive and clinician-led environment.

The practice is modern, patient-focused and committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a welcoming and collaborative setting. Alongside NHS dentistry, there is excellent opportunity to develop private treatments and build a private patient list over time.

This role would suit either a Dentist completing Foundation Training and looking for their first Associate position, or an experienced Dentist seeking a supportive mixed practice with flexibility and long-term development opportunities.

This Dentist role will benefit from:

Key Requirements of the Dentist:

  • Fully qualified and GDC registered Dentist
  • NHS Performer Number (or eligible to obtain)
  • Foundation Dentist applications welcomed
  • Experienced Dentists also encouraged to apply
  • Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to delivering high clinical standards and excellent patient care
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

This Dentist role responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality NHS and private dental treatments
  • Managing a mixed NHS and private patient list
  • Supporting the growth and development of private treatments
  • Building long-term patient relationships
  • Providing excellent patient care and communication
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Working collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider practice team
  • Adhering to NHS guidelines, CQC standards and clinical governance
