Associate Dentist
We are recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join an established mixed dental practice in an affluent Nottinghamshire area. This permanent opportunity is available for 2–3 days per week with flexibility around working days, ideally including Wednesday and Friday. With approximately 80% private and 20% NHS dentistry, there is excellent scope to develop private treatments and your own clinical interests.

Working with Flourish Medical as an Associate Dentist offers you:
- Permanent position for 2–3 days per week
- Flexible working days with Wednesday and Friday preferred
- Negotiable UDA rate
- Up to 50% private split
- Approximately 80% private and 20% NHS patient mix
- CBCT scanner and three intraoral scanners
- Chairside 3D printing facilities
- Patient finance and practice plan options
- An established nursing team providing chairside support
- Visiting specialist Endodontists and an Implantologist
- Opportunity to provide treatments such as single implants where appropriately experienced, with more complex cases referred internally to visiting specialists
Required Skills & Experience for this Associate Dentist:
- GDC registration
- Appropriate dental qualifications
- Performer Number for NHS dentistry
- Previous UK dental practice experience
- Confidence providing both NHS and private dentistry
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Additional clinical interests and experience welcomed
Suitable for Associate Dentist, General Dentist and/or Mixed Dentist
As an Associate Dentist, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality NHS and private dental treatments
- Building relationships with an established patient base
- Creating tailored treatment plans and discussing private treatment options
- Providing additional treatments within your clinical competency, including single implants where appropriately experienced
- Identifying more complex cases and referring internally to visiting specialist clinicians where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with the established nursing team and wider clinical team
The practice is based in an affluent area of Nottinghamshire and offers a modern clinical environment with significant private potential. The Dentist will have access to advanced digital equipment and an established nursing team, alongside visiting specialist Endodontists and an Implantologist for more complex cases.
