Associate Dentist

Telford, Shropshire | £15.50–£16.50 per UDA | 2–3 Days Per Week | 50% Private

Flourish Medical is recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a well-established dental practice in Telford, Shropshire.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity offering 2–3 days per week, an excellent £15.50–£16.50 per UDA, strong NHS patient demand and the opportunity to develop additional private income.

The practice has an established patient base and excellent diary utilisation, with significant UDA availability for a Dentist looking to maximise their NHS earnings. Alongside the NHS workload, there is scope to provide and grow private treatments, with a 50% private split.

Working hours are 9:00am–5:00pm, with some flexibility available around childcare and personal commitments.

Please note: UK dental experience and an active NHS Performer Number are essential. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

About the practice

You will be joining a busy, established practice providing both NHS and private dentistry.

There is strong demand for NHS treatment, making this an excellent opportunity for an Associate Dentist who wants a consistent patient flow and a good UDA allocation.

There is also scope to maximise private earning potential by identifying appropriate private treatment opportunities within the existing patient base.

What we're looking for

To be considered for this Associate Dentist position, you will need:

  • GDC registration as a Dentist
  • Active NHS Performer Number
  • Previous UK dental experience
  • Experience delivering NHS dentistry
  • Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Strong clinical standards
  • Confidence managing a busy NHS diary
  • An interest in developing private dentistry would be advantageous

Your role

As an Associate Dentist, you will:

  • Provide high-quality NHS and private dental treatment
  • Manage an established and consistent patient diary
  • Deliver excellent patient care
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Work closely with Dental Nurses and the wider practice team
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for private treatment
  • Maintain high standards of clinical governance and compliance

Location

The practice is based in Telford, Shropshire and is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Bridgnorth, Stafford, Cannock and surrounding areas of Shropshire and the West Midlands.
