Flourish Medical is recruiting for a GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join a long-established independent dental practice in Redditch, Worcestershire.
This is a permanent opportunity offering £14.00–£14.75 per hour, with both full-time and part-time working patterns available. Full-time hours are 8:15am–5:15pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend working.
You’ll be joining an established mixed NHS and private dental practice with 5 modern surgeries, an experienced clinical team and a long-standing reputation for supporting professional development. The practice provides a broad range of NHS and private dentistry, giving the successful Dental Nurse varied clinical exposure within a busy and supportive environment.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Please note: GDC registration, previous UK dental nursing experience and the right to work in the UK are essential. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

About the practice
You’ll be joining a long-established independent dental practice in Redditch providing both NHS and private dentistry.
The practice has 5 modern surgeries and an experienced clinical team, with several members of staff having worked at the practice for many years.
The practice also has a strong history of supporting clinical development, having been involved in Foundation Dentist training, making this an excellent environment for a Dental Nurse who values learning and working alongside experienced clinicians.
Alongside general NHS and private dentistry, the practice provides a range of private and cosmetic treatments, giving the successful Dental Nurse the opportunity to gain varied clinical experience.
What we’re looking for:
• GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
• Previous UK dental nursing experience
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Experience using dental practice management software would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and decontamination procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, caring and reliable approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy clinical team
Your role:
• Provide chairside support during NHS and private dental treatments
• Prepare surgeries, instruments and equipment for treatment
• Follow infection prevention, cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
• Support and reassure patients before, during and after treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Assist with stock management and clinical supplies
• Work closely with Dentists and the wider practice team
• Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical environment
Location
The practice is based in Redditch, Worcestershire and is easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Studley, Astwood Bank, Alvechurch, Alcester, Droitwich and surrounding areas across Worcestershire and South Birmingham.
