Dental Nurse – East Leake, Loughborough

Flourish Medical is recruiting for a GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join a long-established dental practice in East Leake, near Loughborough.
This is a permanent position working 4 days per week, offering up to £14.00 per hour, Wednesdays off and no weekend working.
You’ll be joining an established practice that has been providing dentistry to the local community for over 50 years, with a loyal patient base and an experienced clinical team. The practice provides predominantly private adult dentistry alongside NHS care, with Denplan and pay-as-you-go patients and a broad range of general and advanced dental treatments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Nurse looking for a stable, long-term position with varied clinical exposure and the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians.
Please note: GDC registration, UK dental nursing experience and the right to work in the UK are essential. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay & Working Hours:
• Up to £14.00 per hour
• Permanent position
• 4 days per week
• Monday: 8:00am–5:00pm with 1-hour lunch
• Tuesday: 8:00am–5:30pm with 1-hour lunch
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 8:00am–5:30pm with 1-hour lunch
• Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm with 30-minute break
• No weekend working

About the practice
You’ll be joining a long-established dental practice in East Leake that has been caring for patients in the local community for over 50 years.
The practice has a loyal and established patient base, with predominantly private adult dentistry provided through Denplan and pay-as-you-go treatment, alongside NHS care.
The clinical team provides a broad range of dentistry, including general and preventative care, hygiene, restorative dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants and oral surgery. This provides the successful Dental Nurse with the opportunity to gain varied clinical experience rather than supporting routine general dentistry alone.
The practice has an experienced multidisciplinary team of Dentists, Dental Therapists, Hygienists and Dental Nurses, creating a collaborative environment in which to continue developing your skills.
What we’re looking for:
• GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
• Previous UK dental nursing experience
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and decontamination procedures
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, reliable and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
Your role:
• Provide chairside support across a range of dental treatments
• Prepare surgeries, instruments and equipment for treatment
• Follow infection prevention, cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
• Support and reassure patients throughout their appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Assist with stock management and clinical supplies
• Work alongside Dentists, Therapists, Hygienists and the wider practice team
• Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical environment
Location
The practice is based in East Leake, near Loughborough, and is conveniently located for Dental Nurses travelling from Loughborough, West Bridgford, Clifton, Ruddington, Shepshed, Castle Donington and surrounding areas across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
