Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safe, person-centred care for all residents, including those living with dementia
- Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements
- Leading and supporting a small, dedicated team, promoting learning and professional growth
- Building strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Overseeing budgets, staffing, and day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the home
Essential skills and experience:
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN
- Proven leadership experience in a care home or similar clinical setting
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Strong clinical judgement and confident decision-making
- Experience in operational management, budgeting, and quality improvement
